Albert Dumaual is an associate in the Firm’s Estate Planning and Estate Administration, and Taxation Departments. Albert’s practice involves structuring and implementing sophisticated estate planning strategies focused on maximizing the utilization of the estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax exemptions. This includes drafting and preparing trust agreements, wills, powers of attorney, and advance directives. Albert is experienced in drafting business succession documents, such as shareholders’ agreements, partnership agreements, and operating agreements with buy-sell provisions.
Albert also has experience in counseling clients on matters involving complex corporate, partnership, and international tax issues and in representing clients on matters before the Internal Revenue Service. Additionally, Albert has lectured in front of CPAs and tax attorneys on various tax topics, such as passive activity losses, the Net Investment Income Tax, international tax reporting, penalty abatement, and charitable contributions.
