Megan Petrus is an associate in the firm's Corporate Department. Megan has experience advising companies across a range of industries in corporate and commercial matters.
Her practice currently focuses on counseling companies on domestic and international purchase, sales and distribution agreements, including: compliance and regulatory matters, trade and customs issues, intellectual property laws, and UCC transactions.
Megan additionally advises companies in the entertainment and media industries through a variety of transactions, including: intellectual property licensing and technology transfers, website privacy regulations, investment financing agreements, production, talent and author agreements, strategic partnership agreements, trademark and copyright issues, and distribution agreements.
Megan received her law degree from Fordham University School of law. During law school she was the Writing and Research Editor of the Journal of Corporate and Financial Law, on the Board of Editors for Moot Court, and interned at the United Stated Court of International Trade. Megan received a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh, from which she graduated summa cum laude.
Ms. Petrus is admitted to practice in the state of New York.
